As one of the first in the industry, Horsens Industrilakering gained environmental accreditation to ISO 14001 in 1999. The company subsequently became a member of Green Network, an environmental partnership between private companies and the Danish authorities, in 2000.
At Horsens Industrilakering, environmental awareness is not just something we think about. With due consideration to customer requirements, we strive to use products that affect the environment as little as possible and make every effort to meet the requests of any interested parties for more environment-friendly products.
An environmental policy was prepared during the accreditation process, which, among other things, ensures that personnel at all levels within the company act responsibly with respect to the environment and to energy consumption and comply with both internal and external rules and regulations.
We support the overall objectives of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency for sustainable industrial development. As a result, we have constant focus on the VOC Directive and always willingly provide customers with advice on meeting the requirements of this directive.
